The BMW i8 is also available in all black. The BMW i8 “Protonic Frozen Black” edition was launched in 2017 at the same time as the “Protonic Frozen Yellow” edition. These variants join the “Protonic Red,” “Protonic Blue,” and “Protonic Silver” editions.
