After arriving individually in Grafenhausen at our accommodation in the Rothaus Brewery Inn, where we enjoyed a sparkling wine reception and a traditional dinner, we set off on Saturday, October 12th, for an extensive panoramic tour through the Black Forest, passing over the Schauinsland mountain and through picturesque Black Forest towns. Our first stop was in St. Blasien for a visit and guided tour of the “Black Forest Cathedral.” After a hearty snack, we continued through the Black Forest, past Lake Schluchsee, to the traditional Rothaus Brewery for a tour, where we concluded the day with a group dinner at the Rothaus Brewery Inn. On Sunday, October 13th, we visited the Eble Clock Park, home to the world’s largest cuckoo clock, bringing this wonderful autumn excursion to a close.
